Discounted rates

1.  The early registration rate will only be applicable to delegates who book and pay prior to the registration cut off dates.  Registrations prior to the cut-off date that are not paid at the close of the early registration period will automatically be charged the higher registration fee without prior notification.

2.   SAPI member rate is only applicable for SAPI members in good standing at the time of conference registration. 3.  Student registration shall only apply to students enrolled at a recognised Planning School at the time of the registration for conference and who are not in employment. Valid proof of registration at a recognised Planning School must be submitted at the time of registration. Normal conference registration rates will apply should the student be in employment or not enrolled at a Planning School at the time of registration.

4.   Discounted rates for sponsors will only apply to the delegate list submitted to the Conference Organising Committee.




1.    Delegates may cancel registration on or before 31 March 2018 and will be entitled to a 60% refund.

3.    All refunds will only be processed after the conference and on receipt of a written request sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

4.    Delegates cancelling registration after 31 March 2018 will not be entitled to any refund.
5.    Alternatively, the registration may be transferred to a new delegate, however a 20% substitution fee based on the current rate of conference fee will be applicable.


Authors and Parallel Session Presenters

1.    Parallel Session Presenters and Co-Author participation will be confirmed by the Conference Organising Committee.

2.    All co-authors must be registered for conference and duly paid up.


Close of Conference Registration

    Conference Registration will close a month prior to conference.


Payment of Conference Fees

 1.   Once the registration form has been processed, a pro-forma-invoice with the Planning Africa Conference banking details will be forwarded by email to the delegate for payment. Please note that payment is only to be made on receipt of an invoice.
2.    Payment can be made via bank/electronic transfer, bank guaranteed cheque.
3.    Please be advised that should payments incur bank charges, these will be for the delegates own account.
4.    Full payment for these charges is required before you are granted access into the conference venues.
5.    Please ensure all bank transfers make clear reference to the delegate/s being paid for. (Kindly include the delegate name and surname when making payment).
6.    In cases where a tax invoice is required, all the details for the tax invoice must be completed.
7.    In cases where organisations are making payments for more than one delegate the names of the all the delegates must accompany proof of payment.
